To release stress and give yourself a healthy dose of energy and to beat stress, focus on applying pressure on areas that are linked to adrenal glands – it will stimulate the glands that help in regulating metabolism, reduce inflammation, lower blood pressure and motivate sluggish intestines. For better stimulation, massage the middle inner sides of your hands or feet.

 

Mood lifter:


If you are stressed and want a quick mood boost then it is essential to bring the balance of your endocrine system by working on the pituitary gland and hypothalamus reflexes. To stimulate them, all you need to do is, massage on your both thumbs or both toes, paying special attention to the widest part of both toes or thumbs (this area is more sensitive). It is better to move your hands around small areas too to keep the relaxation levels high.

 

Mental clarity:


Reflexology can give you a mental clarity and for this you need to apply pressure on the thyroid gland. For this start applying pressure on your thumb to walk around the base of your big toe or thumb. This area is also used to reduce weight, fluctuating heartbeat, dry skin, cholesterol levels and nervousness. This gland is also associated with ovary health (called a third ovary) that has been known to have a strong impact on women’s health.
